Beauty of the Beast is a full-length work by Anthony Misson for Company Chameleon, featuring a funny, moving and subversive look at male group dynamics. It peels back and uncovers the many faces of man – strength, camaraderie, uncertainty, a yearning to belong, vulnerability and hostility; and what happens when affiliation becomes identity. This imaginative, fragmented narrative is based largely on gang mentality, violent and rough yet beautiful and poetic at the same time.

"Beauty of the Beast is theatrically enhanced by Yaron Abulafia’s exquisite lighting, which effortlessly creates a series of atmospheric physical and emotional spaces – from disco balls to shadowy alleys and backstreet gyms."
